Strategy First has sent some exclusive screenshots of their dark age strategy game to The Wargamer.
Strategy First has released some exclusive screenshots to the Wargamer that detail their early-medieval strategy title, Great Invasions. Slated for release in 3 to 4 weeks, Great Invasions plunges the player into the dark age of Europe, a time in history where barbarian tribes warred with one-another as the fate of the western world unfolded. This historically accurate recreation allows the player to encounter over 150 nations/tribes, more than 30 religions and heresies, as well as thousands of historical characters drawn from the pages of the world's richest historical sources. All in all, this real time strategy title covers over 700 years of contentious, brutal European history.
Features include:
- Great Invasions is based on pure historical fact designed in collaboration with historians and includes 150 historical events and over 3700 key figures of this period.
- Manage the finances, diplomatic, religious and military needs of a nation.
- Apart from managing the conflicts between borders, you must control population migrations, heresies and confront the fall of kingdoms and empires facing barbarian attacks.
- Manage up to 10 populations simultaneously, selecting them via a bidding system with over 80 different nations.
- Multiplayer mode supporting up to 4 players via LAN or Internet.
